SCHEDULE OF EVENTS

CONVENTION REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Registration Fee: FREE

THURSDAY, April 25th 

1: 00 PM - 5:00 PM – Set-Up/Drop-Off Your Contributions to the FFA Alumni in the Rotunda

Deliver silent auction items, FFA Alumni display boards, Alumni and FFA Chapter baskets to the the FFA Alumni section of the Rotunda

1: 00 PM - 5:00 PM – Alumni Food Drive – FFA Chapters turn in verification forms in the Rotunda 

FRIDAY, April 26th - Attire: Business Casual

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Silent Auction Opens 

9:00 AM – 9:30 PM – Onsite Conference check in at the Rotunda Business Office. Pick up Conference materials and Name Badges 

9:30 AM – 10:30 AM – Workshop A: ABC’s of conducting superior Alumni Programs: Centreplex Room 308

Roster training, Fundraising, Ag Program Support, Officer Elections, etc.

10:45 AM – 11:45 AM – Workshop B: Visions of Innovations Round Table Discussion. Centreplex Room 308

Dedicated time for sharing ideas and obtaining feedback with FFA Alumni from across the state! Bring your best ideas to share and a pencil to write down everyone else’s.

12:45 – 1:45 – Break for Lunch on your own 

1:00 PM – 2:30 PM – Alumni Business Meeting: Centreplex Room 308

Join us and participate in conducting the business of the state association. Our State Bylaws allow each Alumni Chapter to provide two voting delegates to help elect Council members as well as vote on any Alumni business. We will also present the $500 awards for winning baskets and the outstanding Alumni affiliate. 

6:00 PM – Georgia FFA Alumni Silent Auction Closes. Payment and pickup in rotunda from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm and Saturday 9 am – Noon.


T Shirt Design Contest      
If you have talented students who are interested, please have them submit a design. Please check the Georgia FFA Alumni T Shirt Design Contest flyer for rules and information.  All designs are due December 1st!

Food Drive      
The purpose of the Georgia FFA Alumni Canned Food Drive Contest is to collect food and have that food remain in the local community where it can benefit local community members.  Remember that all of the food you collect stays in your own community and all you bring to convention is the documentation.  Please see Food Drive Contest Rules and Entry form for more information.
